Ian, Thank you for the reply. The send field was changed to 28 as suggested. I've tried many different send sizes. 502 is the default port of the third party device. I'm trying to message a 3rd party device. I can create the socket and a get .dn bit. I'm getting an invalid iP error when I try to open the socket. The first picture is from a tech note. I have my n60 built basically the same way, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong. My device ip is 10.35.21.20 ...

Fuzzy, Yes, that is the Tech note. IN39492. Great working with Rockwell to come up with this solution.

Yes, I have. I worked with Rockwell on this and got it figured out finally today. This was an odd one. There is a Tech note coming out about this issue to help anyone else that runs into this. Thank you for the reply.

Has anyone had any experience with setting up a K5100 for registration using a photo eye. I have done this with the k300 with no problem. There is a migration guide for k300 to k5100 but doesn't really cover this. Any ideas, suggestions, or direction would greatly be appreciated.
