Okay finally answered my own question. HSCCMD must be a valid number prior to enabling the HSC block - therefore before your HSC rung (& via utilizing initial values) you'll want to write between a 1 & 4 in order to prevent controller faults. Yeesh that one is sneaky.

More to Add here after some testing: If after a download, while the controller is in faulted state & not yet cleared, I can reinput the application setting for "OFSetting" & the PLC will go into run mode without fault & HSC will operate correctly. It's almost as if the header file isn't dumping initial ...

Hi All, Scratching my head on this one. On download the controller faults 0xF840, which can be cleared & ran. Afterwards the HSC block appears to be running without error but does not count correctly (definitely not high-speed). I have configured HSCs with similar settings & exact same controller/FW ...
