Thanks TJ. The fault is 192, which is NTC sensor failed. However, if the NTC sensor has failed, then fault has to be permanent, in my case its intermittent. Once the power is recycled, the fault disappears. The drive runs for a some load cycles & the fault reappears. I got the customer to monitor ...

Ok.You need to check the total heat loss of the drives, convert the same from watts to BTU. Now the you need to decide what is the temperature you would like to maintain inside the enclosure. You will need to give these 2 datas to the enclosure cooler manufacurer, who will select the ...

Before giving any comment, I've 2 questions :- 1. What is the IP class of the enclosures you are using? 2. Does the enclosure cooler suck in fresh atmoshpheric air at surrounding environment temperature? ##HL33

No down sides from the drive perspective. However, you need to check on the motor side. If the motor is a inverter duty motor , it will normally have a seperate supply for its cooling fan & then you can run it a lower speeds too. ##HL33
