Hi Michael, I don't think you'll run into a problems with respect to the PLC code per se. You will however have a problem with your interfacing. If I'm correct your reference to SPI is the Serial Peripheral Interface - Wikipedia. This is not an interface that is designed for Industrial Control and Automation ...

Hi Dan, Thanks for your response. The processor card is a 1756-L63 B, part No. 96447878 A01, serial No. 0046194F, cat Rev H01. Thanks Fuzzy logic! In the end we bought the whole system down and then upgraded the primary CPU to 15.61 and returned the system back into service.
