Believe me, I wish we could. Essentially, it treats punctuation inside a word as a space. So, 1769-L36ERMS is the same search as 1769 L36ERMS which is the same as 1769!L36ERMS which is the same as 1769.L36ERMS which is the same as ... Josh ##HL39

Two things: 1 - The minus symbol works an exclude UNLESS it is inside a larger string. Then it treats it as an OR. So, "logix -rslinx" would return all articles with the word logix that does NOT have rslinx. But "logix-rslinx" (no space) would return all articles that have the word logix OR the ...

I haven't used the PanelView Plus 7 units (I've been out of that group for a while), but I recommend taking it up with either your distributor or TechSupport. They should be able to figure out what's going on (and possibly replace your unit if it is just a bad screen). Josh ##HL41

Answer ID 505390 was pulled back in early July. It had some factually incorrect information. I recommend contacting techsupport for further help. Josh ##HL38

Try asking this in the drives section. This area is for FactoryTalk View ME questions. You're more likely to run into people that are familiar with drives over there. (http://forums.rockwellautomation.com/hives/f0d8c6f729/summary) Josh vyankatesh biniwale said: I use powerflex 700 drive ...

The difference is that the youtube video is LINKED, whereas the ones that fail are ones that are UPLOADED. Josh ##HL40

Thanks, fuzzy. Posting this because Andreas's thank you was getting "hidden" by the system by mistake. I fixed that, but didn't want people to notice "ghost" edits and wonder what I was up to! :) Josh ##HL38

Good morning, UT_Logic. That comment seemed a little strange so I did some digging. I believe I found your ticket and according to the case notes, it isn't that RSLinx and RSLinx Enterprise conflict with each other. Rather, the version of RSLinx Enterprise you are using has a known issue with ...

Kakkerlak has it right. The best way to provide this type of feedback is through your local sales office and/or distributor. I absolutely pass these things on when I see them here and I know that Remote Support (ie, Tech Support) does as well, but it always gets more attention when it comes through the ...

You can either call into Technical Support or use the Submit a Question feature in the Knowledge Base. If you do not have a support contract, you can make reports through your local distributor. Josh ##HL40

I'm not going to try to sell you on ME (mostly because I'm too far out of the loop on the product anymore), but I AM trying to find someone from the product group to jump in here for a no-BS discussion. Josh ##HL40

Back in the day, my rule of thumb with NUT was to figure out what the LONGEST interval I could go and still get the data when I needed it ... then set the NUT up to that. So, if I only need data every 25ms, I set it to 20-25 ms. 10ms is just asking for trouble down the road when I *knew* someone would ...

Ian -- Did you get your activation issue resolved? I've been out of touch for a few days and I haven't had an opportunity to follow up with Ron on this end. Do I need to rattle some more cages for you or were you able to set up a time with Ron to work through everything? Josh ##HL62
