I have duplicated this rack layout here in the factory. I have used 1756-If16 cards that have faulted before. With the same program installed as the other line, I can power up the rack repeatedly with no faults. Sent the rack out, worked for two days, then started faulting the analog input modules ...

I have two analog input cards that seem to take turns faulting on a powerup. The odd part is that sometimes I can power the rack down at the power supply and re-power and they come online just fine. it will fault 16#0204 connection error and will not re-cover from the card online without re-powering. ...

Your suggestion is what was needed. My local AB rep sent me tech note#: QA61168. This apparently is a known problem. Your logic was much shorter that than the Rockwell solution. Worked great. Thank you. ------------------------------ craig stover Chemcut Corp. ------------------------------

I have two Kinetix 5300 drives in a new machine. Connecting to a 1769-L36ERM compactlogix processor version 33. I set the software up as we have in the past for the 350 drives. Both drives have configured IP addresses in the in the range of the processor. On startup the drives show up in my controller ...
