I have a Panelview Plus 700, Model # 2711P-T7C4D1, that we upgraded to the most recent firmware we can find, that looks like it should work with a project created in FTView Studio Version 11. I am running Windows 10, when I attempt to start up Studio 5000 after I select a project I get the Studio 5000 Logix Designer splash screen for a few seconds then it just closes.... I've re-installed with the same results. Any clues to track this down would be great! ##HL38

Update -- When I applied the 'patches' to RSViewME I had saved it and ran it from a network drive... Apparently it didn't like this from some items as I later copied the 6GB back to a local drive and re-applied the updates then was able to download to the PVP7.. ##HL40

I applied the patches, I updated the firmware in the PVP7 to 8.0.10.12 (the active X parts are 8.0.12.0) but I get the same response when I try to download to the PVP7 as in original post. My FTVStudio shows as version Release 8.0.0, Patch Pack 10 Build 12. I created a 'new' minimal application ...

Hmmm.. The text in RSLinx says "PanelView Plus_7" and that is the IP addx of the terminal, so I don't know what you mean by that? ##HL40

Yes, That was my concern when the value is > 32767 and when the value is negative, I hadn't used the S:13, :14 regs before so will look at that. Thanks ##HL39

Summary: FLOAT to DINT Conversion I need to convert a floating point value into a DINT to send the DINT value to a motor via Ethernet I/P. This was a simple MOV in the ML1100, Am I missing something obvious? #HL39 #SLC500 #HL39

My Fault routine is setup to store the fault value so I can view it, then clear the fault, then we should continue to run. Unfortunately this happens infrequently (1-2 times per week at most) and the customer is several states away so difficult to make a change. As I understand it what I'm seeing ...

I'm not going ONLINE to clear the fault, it gets cleared in the fault rountine.If I was online it would be simple to do.... ##HL39

As I understand it the Fault rountine can clear the fault and the system shoudl keep on running... else why have the fault routine. ##HL39
