No, I'm not smart enough to know how to import into Linx. When I use it I'm usually looking for evidence that the locations IT dept is blocking the port so it's targeted to a csv list of IPs it runs through and shows if port 2222 or 44818 is available on each one. I have never had Discovery work on the main dev desk since the PLCs are always going to be on a different vlan and subnet from the dev machine. Pinging port 44818 bypasses that restriction in my case so I have a script set up to do that, but may not be useful to anyone else who didn't set up the F/W ...

Yes, some way to discover without using broadcast. Broadcast across subnets defeats the idea (and oddly makes the IT staff recoil in horror) so perhaps some other type of manually invoked discovery like polling ports 44818 and 2222 on specified subnets or range of IPs specified. But the syncing succeeds, that just makes it more confusing. They are fine in the Logix IO tree and they will sync fine with the AOP when offline using the hardware parameters as the sync source. I know they were in there copying parameters for the upgrade, but how would that create the wrong datatype ...
