Hi All, Thanks for the responses, I have now solved the issue and it works quite well. I will try to explain how I did it below. I used a bit shift to increment the product along the conveyor as is fairly straight-forward, the sensor at the start of the conveyor provided the '1' bit to increment ...

Hi All, I have been struggling to think of a way to do this and I am hoping that someone has either done it, or could point me in the right direction. I am trying to animate an HMI application where products are travelling along a conveyor, that bit is simple enough, but at the end of the conveyor ...

Yes it does, as long as you Cut and not Copy, if they are still in the Controller Tags then the reference won't change. ------------------------------ Ian Stones ------------------------------

Highlight them in Controller Tags, Cut, and then paste into your Program Tags. You can do it the other way round too. ------------------------------ Ian Stones ------------------------------

Hi Wescott, Have you tried to write your own routine and use it as an AOI? That's what we used to do before AOI's were available. Write a routine using a generic local tag i.r. ParRobot KA and then call the routine using your actual tag, the same as you would use an AOI. Regards, Ian ...

Hi Jesse, Thanks for your response, very much appreciated. I have been doing some homework on this, based on your suggestion and it looks like you move the parameter shown below into the System Variable Monitor location and it maps all of the digital inputs into a status word to read from the drive ...

Hi All, We have a weird anomaly with our PanelView+ 7 Standard 10" running on Version 11 runtime. PLC is a 5069-L320ERS2 on FRN 32.012. It has taken a bit of investigating to find out what is causing the issue, but we feel we have pinpointed the culprit. It does seem strange so I am not sure if ...

Hi Ian, Thanks for your response, this was my thinking also. I didn't know if anyone knew of a way of protecting the security configuration when downloading, but I think your suggestion of uploading the runtime file first is the only way to keep the data. Regards, Ian ------------------------------ ...

Hi All, We have an application that uses am RFID card reader to add users to a PanelView Plus 7 application and I wondered if there is someone that can confirm whether we would lose these users if a modification was made to the application and then downloaded? Is there any way to download without ...

Hi All, I am having some issues with the configuration signature on a few Kinetix 5100 drives. If you cycle the power to the control panel all of the Kinetix 5100 drives go into, what looks like, a STO fault. After some investigation it turns out that this is due to differences in the drive configuration ...

Have you managed to solve this issue? I have done the registration using an inductive proximity switch and I wouldn't have thought that it would be much different, what is your specific issue? Regards, Ian ------------------------------ Ian Stones ------------------------------
