Vincent, "Would be nice to have the extended fault as well..." Extended Error Code 0 What type of motor are you using ? are you respecting the maximum cable length ? These are Kollmorgen 2 cable motors, and yes. Did the issue occurs often ? Not that often, usually just enough ...

Interesting. What is generating your text string? Is there a chance for that one box you have a space char instead of it being totally blank? I am no authority on best-practice, but in order to stop me from breaking my own Optix programs, I try and always tie back to a PLC tag. (I assume your "Stopped" ...

We had an issue a couple of weeks ago, I was hoping someone could point me to some better documentation about. Stack of 6500 drives (AX7-AX14), we got a call a plant was having ground fault factory limit (or something of the sort) that was appearing on AX7 (Frist drive in the stack), but the issue ...

Attaching a picture, to make it really clear. In this case this is using a string formatter to display a percentage with two decimals. -------------------------------------------

Roy, Not sure if this is related or not, but I had an issue a few months ago that sounds very similar. See thread here. Is there any chance you or someone else made large changes to the PLC or imported a large number of tags? -------------------------------------------

The edits in the PLC are left as pending still? Tested. The status of the edits in the PLC does not have any effect. See if the HMI becomes responsive again, without a connection to the PLC. I should clarify, Optix is still responsive, can open and close dialog boxes exc... But the SYNC state ...

Afternoon ya'll. Once again, I come hat in hand looking for answers.... This one really threw me for a loop. Original Issue: Was working on site on a PLC a couple of weeks ago, the HMI became unresponsive. Even after re-deploy. After a bunch of fussing I was able to get it to work again by ...

I am still working with TechConnect trying to find the root cause of why it didn't work with the new Optix installed, but I do have it rolled back for now and it is working again... @AutomateSHANE I was under the same impression, because when I tried to re-download with a older version of studio ...

Do you know how to get the old version of optix back on a optix panel? I had originally tried to re-download using a old version of optix, but that did not work to send down the old runtime. -------------------------------------------

I will try this. Unfortunately I cant wait for 1.7, the other 'working' panel is just in a duplicate system. This panel is still in-op. -------------------------------------------

I have a PF527 running a conveyor, yesterday they had some issues and ended up rebooting to get it running again. The axis fault was a 'runtime error', anyone have a good place to start on this? -------------------------------------------

When this issue first appeared the panel was not up-to-date, it was running FW 4.0.4.68. I have sense updated it to 6.0.1.168, but have not seen any change. Additionally, the 'working' panel is running FW 4.0.4.68 -------------------------------------------

I'll give it a shot next week and report back. We have a line in the shop we could try on. When this issue came up initially we went with the 'nuclear option' just to get the line back up and running without issues. Only thing that would make me nervous is the possibility of corrupting something like ...

We had an issue that sounds similar to this with Optix some time ago, sounds like a similar situation. Due to requirements / plant conditions PC has frequent reboots (at least 1 / day). We ended up going the write filter route, only downside is that data written at runtime is lost on reboot (recipe / ...

We have a line where OPS is requesting recipes, only 5 or so parameters. We would like to keep them in the PLC as opposed to the Optix runtime (We run PC's in a write filter mode). I have a UDT Recipe[50] I think the best way to go about this is a combo box where the operator can select a ...
