PVP7 communication with SLC 5/05

Communication display for the the analog sensors on the PVP7 600 are interrupted when the SLC is switch from Run to program. Once the PVP7 is power reset the communication is restored. When trying to run the Factorytalk View Studio software . Got the error pop up "This software requires personalized information that cannot be read" Please contact Rockwell Technical Support. Im running FTME Firmware 14.00.Factorytalk services Platform 6.4.

I was able resolve the issue by making sure that the EDS file for the Router in RSlinx was updated.

I bought an Aparian DH485 ROUTER. However Im having difficulties getting the Panelview 600 to read the tag from a slc 5/3 plc through the router. Are there any set-up nuances that are not captured in the set-up documentation. Regard Kevin

Thanks. I confirmed the s:33/5 and 6 are reset to zero. Im still not gettings all of the tags to display. Specifically the tags in the N14 register are not showing up in the HMI display.

Im connected to a SLC 5/05 PLC. Using a 9300-USBCBL-CP3 cable. THe HMI reads about 98 percent of the tags in the SLC. Is there any know bug that will prevent established tags from displaying.

Thank you Phillip. I guess that router option is a good way to go . the routers are about $1100.00 .

The Panelview 7 does not have a DH485 driver. Is there any solution for connecting to a SLC 5/03 DH485 port.
