For 1769 it should be just IP, as far as I know. Optix v1.7 had some issues with connection to PLCs but it should work in your firmware of OptixEdge. Are you connecting to WAN or LAN port of OptixEdge? If you are on WAN, try pluggin in to the LAN. I'd try testing without gateway settings because ...

Hi, because I see that you have a gateway, do you maybe have also some firewall/port opening issues? EtherNet/IP uses TCP port 44818 and UDP port 2222.
