Is it possible it is detecting a duplicate IP address? I wonder if it reverts to DHCP when it detects a duplicate. I am not able to test this, and I don't have any documentation that shows this behavior, but its something to consider. The user manual p49 says the port will go to "Conflict mode". What ...

Michael, Take a look at the 1769-AENTR. This is an EtherNet/IP adapter for the 1769 Compact I/O. Or the 5069-AENTR for the newer Compact 5000 I/O. These two adapters allow you to add Compact I/O to a ControlLogix I/O configuration. They essentailly replace the CompactLogix controller and allow ...

Mendez, I assume your PC and both translated addresses are in the 172.16.37.0 range. It might be a simple issue. Since your controllers are CompactLogix, you need not include the " ,1,0" at the end of the path. It can simply be "1, 172.16.37.50". ------------------------------ Lawrence Ortner ...

GRO, I am not sure I have an answer for you, but I have some observations. I have only dabbled with Sockets in Logix, but I remember struggling as well. I believe you need not pre-condition your message instructions with "NOT Read.EN AND (Read.DN OR Read.ER) ". Please look at the Logix Instruction ...

Godfrey, Take a look at this knowledgebase document https://support.rockwellautomation.com/app/answers/answer_view/a_id/1126992/loc/en_US Your Bender unit is returning a Float value via Modbus in 4 bytes of data. It appears those 4 bytes are in your INT tags: HoldRegisters_4xxx[0] & [1]. ...

BRandon, I don't think I have an "answer" for you, but I have some suggestions to look at. First I see you have all ports set to VLAN 10, but you also mention that the port on the Cisco is set such that VLAN 10 is the NativeVLAN. When connecting switches with trunking it is necessary to have both ...

Gamze, Yes, the 1606 power supply can replace the 1787 for this application. The CANH and CANL (pins 2 & 3) connections to the 1787 were not connected internally. Pin 3 is connected to Chassis ground. Keep in mind the DeviceNet media rules: the black and shield should be tied together and grounded ...

This is another guess, but when using Point I/O with a Logix controller I have gotton a similar error message. Which was caused by the AENTR not being configured for the correct number of slots. Remember to include the AENTR when counting, so it should be configured for 2 when there is only one module ...

Emre, When configuring the 1734-AENTR with a Logix controller it is necessary to tell the AENTR how many modules are attached (including itself). This can be done through the AENTR's web interface. I also see that when configured with a single 1734-IB8, the AENTR returns two 4-byte status words, ...

James, I also see that one of your picturs shows a status of Waiting. This is usually caused by an issue "upstream" of the module you are looking at. Perhaps there is an issue with teh 1794-AENTR?
