Looking at this further it looks like my predecessor was already in the process of fixing it. This is the only machine we have where the Long is used. I just need to replace C5:2 and N7:10 and then create an EQU statement to satisfy the PRE dependencies. ------------------------------ thomas napier ...

Sadly, my company won't spring for me to go to Boston this year, even though I've been begging for months. Has it been released where it will be held next year? Please tell me it will be Chicago... ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK ------------------------------

I have a MicroLogix 1400 with a Panelview 800. The machine is currently set to run into boxes of 2500. They want me to now program it to run into tubs of 100,000. This is a basic problem, but I'm rusty. I obviously cant put 100,000 into the counter PRE. Its not the counting to 100,000 that is tripping ...

This was actually a pretty simple fix. I was using the first vision system to load FFL, so I just had to change it to load from second vision system OK signal (I was loading it too soon). It only took me a week, but I'm glad I worked my way through it. ------------------------------ thomas napier ...

EDIT: moved to Legacy community -FL This logic for a Vision sorter works perfect with one Vision XG system on several machines. I am trying to add a Second Vision IV2 system. When I add this second Vision system input, FIFO will load FFL from N7:30 to N7:40, but FFU won't unload from N7:40 to N7:50. ...

Okay, I was asking because I had a similar issue that I resolved by moving the project to the local hard drive. ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK ------------------------------

Welcome Travis. Is the CCW project you're opening on your local hard drive, or on a network or remote storage? ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK ------------------------------

I didn't look close enough at your ladder. You have duplicate destructive outputs. You will have to delete outputs 1 and 3 on the second rung and branch input 6 and 7 on the top rung. ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK ------------------------------

AH! I see now! Thank you so much for your patience! CCW is fundamentally the same, but I'm experiencing a bit of learning curve. Thanks again! ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK ------------------------------

In RsLogix 500 I have been using the free running clock bits (S:4/0-S:4/7) to make a pilot light flash at different intervals signifying a corresponding fault state, Is there anything like this in CCW? I prefer not to use a bunch of timers. If not using status bits, is there a way to do it in CCW with ...

I have a license for Studio 5000 Ver. 21. The install disk is damaged, so I used a RsLogix 5000 Ver. 20.05.00 (CPR 9 SR 10) to install and then activated it. Can I download Studio 5000 from somewhere? If I rehost the activation? And if so, how high of version can I go for the activation to work? Thanks ...

Did you try deleting and re-installing Visual Studio? I have also heard of folks having to re-install windows because in the course of installing and uninstalling different versions of CCW the registry got damaged somehow. Best of luck. ------------------------------ thomas napier KB9RFK --- ...
