I cannot comment on the specifics of your study. What I can do is point you to page 109 of DRIVES-IN001 which gives the official specifications for acceptable mitigation strategies for that drive. Please also read the Overview beginning on page 93 to understand how to read the tables. ----------- ...

Hamed, It is possible to combine a choke and terminator in a motor-drive system. There may be some restrictions based on the specific drive and the PWM frequency. See page 94 and the tables for your appropriate drive in: https://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/in ...

Dwight, If the PowerFlex 40 are having issue powering up it is due to failures of the capacitors in the switch mode power supply. This will likely only get worse until one day they will not power back up. You may want to take a look at QA1930 PowerFlex 4/4M/40/40P/400 Series Drive: Guidelines for ...

Dwight, Thank you for the details. To get the error 77 again it would seem that Parameter 15 [DSI I/O Cfg] was somehow changed before the power cycle. If we want to be confident in your parameters before a power cycle, I would suggest we connect to the 22-COMM-D using DriveExecutive or Connected Components ...

Dwight, Parameter 16 [DSI I/O Act] is the read only parameter that displays the drives that are active in Multi-Drive mode. It will only update after the 22-COMM-D is reset (or power cycled). Please make sure you are cycling the 22-COMM-D after a download or editing of Parameter 15 [DSI I/O Cfg] before ...
