I have actually tried both. An older computer with a dedicated serial port, as well as a "modern" computer requiring a USB to serial adapter and I get the same response. Looks like it may be time to scour eBay for an old manual. ------------------------------ --ATL--[Designation] ------------ ...

I am attempting to connect to an Allen Bradley PLC-1 (1774 Series). I am connected serially to a 1770KF2 unit. The 1770KF2 unit is connected to my PLC-1 Via a 1774-KA (Data Highway Communication Adapter). That is just a straight blue hose Datahighway cable. I am able to detect the KF2 terminal unit ...

Oh I completely understand the task this is. I was just hoping like many of the PLC-2 documents I have found, that an original paper copy had been scanned at some point to preserve it. But its starting to look like that is not the case for the 1774 Series. Ron, you mentioned the demonstration ...

Unfortunately no the 1774 is before the Plc-5 and even before the Plc-2. From what little I am able to find it was the. Controller after the 1750-pmc. It's chassis looks like either 1774-rp3 or 1774-lp3. If you search Google you can see some pictures. All references to manuals I have found ...

Anyone have any Bulletin 1774 manuals available to them online? I would be interested in looking at 1774-800 just for curiosity sake, but anything to do with the 1774 series PLCs and hardware would be interesting. I am looking for them as to learn about legacy AB PLCs and think it would be interesting ...
