Is there a way for a 1756-L81E connected to a Panelview plus 7 performance to recognize a loss of communication with the Panelview. And vice versa, the Panelview recognize the loss of comm from the processor? I've set up a tag that sends the seconds of the Panelview to the PLC and evaluates if there ...

The source element was not the expected data type. Source was DINT and target expected an INT. A question about data types sparked me to look and I realized there was a difference between current software and a different known to be working version. ------------------------------ Stephen Hancock ...

I've repeated received this error code after trying to change an IP address in the message even after redownloading and power cycling. It should be a valid address. ------------------------------ Stephen Hancock ------------------------------

I'm trying to find a robust way to detect comm loss between Logix controller 5580 and Panel view Plus 7 performance. Currently, I pass the Panelviews time stamp to the PLC and detect if the time changes. Is there a better way or built in way to detect a comm loss? ------------------------------ ...

Yes it is that standard keypad in your screen shot. Press a number and its at least 10 seconds for it to show up in the display window at the top of the image. No errors. I don't understand how the application can contain too many elements, feedback, or slow network can be the issue if a Series A works ...

Different applications have the same problem. The main slow response is when entering numbers on a keypad. The numbers do not show up on the display window for 10 to 60 seconds. So I have to press one number, wait, press another, wait. Or just blindly press them all in sequence and wait. I did call ...

I have switched from a Panelview plus performance series A to a series B and the performance of certain touch operations are extremely slow on series B. I can have the same application file running on a Series A connected to the same system that is fine, but when run on Series B hardware it can be 10 ...
