Here I attached a layout of the Station with the issue only, lets forget about the other stations as they have no similar issues. ------------------------------ Alex Chastain ------------------------------

Haha both.. but to clarify monitor = computer screen(monitor). I am having the issue with only one of the computers. So yes your layout is correct just say computer screen(monitor) 1 and computer screen(monitor) 2. BUTTT... the Client 1 issue is intermittent as in either hourly or seconds. So operator ...

Pretty sure 1 isn't the issue, just checked and all ports are set for 100MB FD, with no collisions. Now 2 could be a problem solver, the PLCs with these issues are L60 series(L61 and L63), and are using Continuous Tasks. Actually our process(Mill B) is setup with a Periodic Task and is a L82. Now ...

Not sure where you select which "instance" to use, but we have two different projects. Project A has two Runtime clients and Project B just has one because the process has its own computer. Confused...? Mill A has two computers, both setup the same... Standalone, two monitors, two runtime clients ...

I may have miss-stated.... when I am talking about the status bar I mean diagnostics list that you can choose to be visible or not when setting up a new Runtime client. So the diag. list does show the tag being set to 1. I am doing patches today, will see what happens after that. ------------ ...

Not sure on screen age, but mouse works fine. We have buttons that open up small HOA(Hand, Off, Auto control) and they work just fine. When I click the button it even states what its setup to do in the status bar at the bottom, ;Set "tag name" 1.... but no change in PLC, two different HMI displays within ...

They are two different projects entirely, and the one with the new issues has been on the computer, no changes to the path have been made for a while. With the issue being sporadic, I want to test each project/client/(Icon you double click to open) on the left monitor to see if I get the same results. ...

I will be surprised if any one can explain this one... Issue is explained first(which is intermittent), then I will explain a change that might of caused this. 1. We have a standalone(v10) HMI process with two monitors, I created two separate "Runtime Clients", one for left screen and one for right ...

Okay so changing the pen source to Data Log Model makes it easier to select the tag you won't, instead of scrolling through all the tags. What I've been doing is just adding through Tag(live data) scrolling through to find the right tag, then selecting the Data log Model that tag is referenced to. ...

We have had it like this for years with no issue keeping history so I don't believe that would affect it. We are using Data log models as well. Is there a difference between Trend and TrendPro? I will change the pen source and see if it helps though, as I've questioned it before. ------------------------------ ...

Yes, this worked perfectly fine before, the only change really is that the operators are using both screens to navigate instead of just one. How it used to be was left screen was our control point/trending/alarms display and the right screen was used to navigate through the project. This issue just started ...
