When I have had this problem it was due the services not starting up on the FTAC server, I had this problem after a power cycle. The way I resolved this was making the all the FactoryTalk services a delayed start to give the system chance to start up. Hope this makes sense

That is absolutely true I am learning all the time, CCW does de-compress all the file from the .ccwarc back into the CCW folder so the software can start to use the project information the same as FTView's .apa file will de-compress the files into the HMI project folder so the software can start to use ...

Hi All I have created a binder in FTAssetCentre to control all my CCW projects and was trying to do the same for my HMI projects in FTView ME, has anyone managed to do this or is it not possible. Thanks Nick
