Hi Philip, i have done further testing this morning and you are correct, it does indeed write to the values, the message instruction does not fail and successfully writes or reads from the module. what threw me off was that the new value cannot be seen in controller tags or the module properties ...

this sounds a bit "Clunky" , my application is cut to length, so while doing this i expect some pulses will be lost and therefore error induced. am i missing something here? i am using those compare windows to set my output (out 0) to cut and then reset counter (out 1). surely there is a better way? ...

i set the msg instruction up with a bool i can toggle to enable it. for my test i used GET to analyze the return. message works with no errors and data is loaded to the Tag "EICS_DINT_ARRAY_22" however i dont understand the way it returns the data compared to the memory map, the lack of information ...
