Could it be that if i load the tag by Array this decreases the amount of polling that happens over the profinet? im willing to give this a try but im getting some problems with plc connection if i chang this parameter. ...

Thanks for the quick reply. This does clarify some thing for me. Howerer we are using a siemens s7-1500 plc so using logix-based alarms will not be an option. Splitsing the alarms will be our last resort since preferably we use one alarmlist, i reduced the size to 2500 to help with the communication. ...
