Thanks for responding with help. It turned out that I did not have and was having trouble finding the most current manual for the Kinetix 5100. In the latest manual (December 2023) it now lists what Error Code 150 is. It is from exceeding the maximum numeric value on the encoder position. https://li ...

I am using an Kinetix 5100 drive with Micro 850 and getting an error code 150 when using the MAM command. There is a table codes in the 2198-UM004 user manual that lists all of the possible error codes. However, the error codes table only lists up to code number 141. Does anyone know or know who to contact ...

Many thanks, Dex! That was the problem. I was approaching it, code first, then communications not realizing that there were resources needed from the device for the code itself. Thank you so much for solving this, it works now.

I have imported via. .7z the UDFB's for the Kinetix 5100. When I add the raC_Dvc_K5100 UDFB to my ladder I get undeclaired identifier errors. The errors are clear that I need to point the UDFB parameter to a variable with a data type of Kinetix_5100_Camming_I. However, that data type does not exist as ...

Thanks for the help, Dex. The firmware is 21.011 I am not getting any errors at all. I will set up wireshark and do a trace and post back here. I am now wondering it there might be difference in endianess of the chip between the chips used in the LC50 vs. the L50E. This might ...

We have been using modbus tcp communication with the Micro 850 series controllers for several years, specifically the 2080-LC50-48QVB. The LC50 model has not been discontinued so we now are trying to implement the L50E as our new alternate. Is anyone aware of differences regarding modbus tcp? Our modbus ...

I have multiple ladder programs in a CCW project for a Micro850. Is there a way to exit a single program from a run while letting the next programs that follow continue to be scanned and run? I tried TND but that ends all scanning therefore programs the follow don't get scanned so don't run. ...
