Hi Philip, From my understanding, the reverse diode in the solenoid is to protect the load instead of the supply (DO module). When there's spike/ overload/ overvoltage happened at the load, the diode in the solenoid will reverse back the current/ voltage back to the supply. Please correct me if ...
