If you firmware flash it then you must recreate a new driver in Rs linx. Rs Linx codes all those details and if a new firmware in on the device it is not going to see it. Are you sure it's when the power is turned off. There could be a surge in the system when power is restored. Or an arc somewhere in the PLC system supply power components. Make sure those two screws that mount the PS to the rack are snug. And all other screws are tight as well. try taking a 110v cord ...
