So if I have a system with Micrologix 1400 running a couple of Kinetix 300 using Ethernet/IP, external reference, and Indexing, I take it that I am going to have to rewrite the program to work with the 5100 rather than the Kinetix 300. @ Splash The Free version only works with MicroLogix1000, and MicroLogix1100, but I have been able to open and view Ladder Logic files written for Micrologix 1400 with the Free version software. Of course you can't go online or upload or Download with it on a 1400.​ I already have multiple paid ...

Great idea! I was using an old Stratix switch 1783-US05T with the plastic case which doesn't have the Dip switches. I just swapped it out with a 1783-US5T. So far so good. Wish me Luck. Thanks

Is it only axis 1 that faults or does axis 2 also fault? Both Axis will fault, but not necessarily at the same time. Is your MSG instruction that is supposed to kick the watchdog erroring? MG200:12 for Axis 1, in the sample I am looking at. I don't know, I'll see if I can find out. What is the message ...

Possible, but I have been running my modified program for years and I don't get the error, but as soon as I connect it to the LAN, that's when I get the Watchdog error (E91) Not right away, but pretty consistently within a half an hour or less.
