Yes, sort of, but where the #index value would be the name of the current placeholder (since I named them from 0 to 39) or some other hypothetical attribute like its rank/its number or something ... But that was just an afterthought, I don't really need it at the moment !

So, I ended up just aliasing the Array so I have to do it only one time, I'll have to adapt to the different arrays lenght, but It's not the worst. It would be great if I could get the "placeholder" value and use it to increment my array index (by any chance, do you know if that's possible ?) ...

Hi Shane, thank you once again for your quick reply. I've actually thought about this method, but I have several arrays with dozens of elements, unfortunately it's just not feasible to do it by hand. I'll think about a fully indexable string formater, or as you and Fox mentioned, doing something ...

Thanks for your reply, using NetLogic was indeed my last option. I just try not to use C# when I can.

Hi, I'm trying to replicate a function of FT View where it was possible to extract x elements of an array with a simple syntax. For example, I have an array of 10 values in my CLX (i.e. an INT[10]) wich every integer is a decimal (or hexa) value matching an ASCII symbol. In FT View you could ...

Thank you, that's a great help. I'd looked through some of the pages, but not this one. It wasn't clear to me at first where to direct the "targetnode" and the "sourcevariable", but declaring only one pointing the "Text" variable of my Label worked. Many thanks!

Hello, I'm trying to get the same function as Local messages (from FT View ME), on FT Optix. So I'm thinking of using a Label with a "Key-Value Converter" wich seems to be what I need. So first of all, do you think this is the right way to go, or is there something you think is more appropriate? ...

Hello, You can install the FT Activation Manager first, to check that your license is active, and it will give you the list of softwares available with it. https://compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/Pages/MultiProductFindDownloads.aspx?crumb=112&refSoft=1&toggleState=&versions=63174

Okay, I'm starting to understand this a lot better! So using a "model" variable in the UI folder will create instances of that variable ? Then, when I use this variable in a logger (which is a project-level node (?)), how will it know which value/instance of the variable to use?

Ok, so I finally got it to work. My mistake was to copy and paste this "Alias" when it wasn't available in the dynamic link browser. I've clearly missed the point here... And maybe you can enlighten me or direct me to an help page, but what's the difference between putting the periodic action in a "window" ...

I was in 1.3.3. I updated today in 1.4 but no changes. Tried on a different machine (With Windows 10 instead of Win 11) , still the same ! So I must do something wrong but I can't see what :/ Would you mind telling me exactly how you get the expected result ? (Also tried to create a new project ...

Yes I recently switch to fr-FR (to get the correct time format), but I was in en-US before and the issue was there.

Hi Shane, Thanks for your reply, I tried a periodic action but also without success. Here's how I configured the action: Wich still gives me that "root" value. "Operator A" is the current logged-in user, the text on the button work using directly (Session)/User@BrowseName ...

Hello all, I'm trying to get the connected username (Model only users) as a "String" to write into a database. I tried using (session)/User@BrowseName but it doesn't work. All I could get was "Root" in my DB. And putting it in a variable just doesn't work. (It's not the right datatype, altought using ...

Thanks for your reply, after some more tests I found solutions for both of my issues ! 1) Echo doesn't create a virtual network card, so it has to take one of the PC's addresses, either the "localhost" one (127.0.0.1) or an address defined by hand in the Windows IPV4 config. My mistake was trying ...

Hello everyone, I have two different issues with FT Echo : 1) When I add a new controller, if I try to change the IP adress it shows as an "unknown device" in FT Linx (Tried everything on Technote BF30146 , doesn't help). It's working only if I leave the default "localhost" IP (127.0.0.1 ). ...

Hi, You can kind of adjust it by changing the values of "center x" and "center y", this change the value showed in the middle of each axis, meaning if you put 1000 on x, it will display it from 0 to 2000. I also found out that you can use Ctrl (x axis) or Alt (y axis) + Mouse Wheel to zoom on only ...
