The HMI only sets the bit, the PLC resets it. The remote bit does stay in longer than the local, I'm thinking because the two are connected via ethernet switch and ETAP's. No undesirable consequences for the logic however.

I wanted to reply and thank both of you for the help. I had to make the edit suggested here, and I completed the other edits for start/stop/purge as well. Everything tested and in service. Great community!

Apologies, I thought it would be better to see the file clean without my edits. I did in fact use B54:0/4 in rung 27 in parallel as an XIO. Your suggestion to instead put it in series will probably solve my issue. I will follow your advice and update this post.
