I can embed the %.@Description field from the 5380 Logix Based Tag Alarm as an alarm message at the Alarm and Event Log Viewer \ Summary \ Banner, and only specify the input. The document on A&E states that InputName is a valid name in Logix Tag Extended Properties, but this can't get past the Left Fill requirement. The device shortcuts are 5380 PLCs with logic based tag alarms, so the FTVS SE alarm configuration is empty. The exported XLS file doesn't contain any of the alarms. -------------------------------------------

Thank you, Phil. So the syntax should match a FTVS command, like programming a button or a visibility, with a device path even though it's entered in a Studio 5000 properties tab at that device. Otherwise FTVS diagnostic says that it doesn't exist.

L61 is an old processor. Check firmware version. Publication 1756-RN016G-EN-E - October 2013 10 years ago, I corrected an anomaly on a L55 with F/W 16.23 upgrade.
