There is another option, add a 1:1 transformer, AKA line reactor, to your PS input. That way, the Power supply will be decoupled from the GFCI -------------------------------------------

I was there about a month ago. Had a new power supply installed by the plant's maintenance team. Think they got it from Radwell or something. Didn't solve a problem. New GFCIs, a wall outlet type and household panel mounted once, are super sensitive and don't like capacitive loads with low switching ...

Local variables are calculated by your code. What does your program do? I feel like something is writing wrong data types in to name0, 1 and 2. If you want to flip output change them in global variables.

Does it stay slow? I have designed few systems at work with 2080-LC50 and 2711R. I found every single time on boot all elements are slow to respond until you change the screen or interact with the element. Trying to use buttons or numerical fields again and they react much faster. Regarding validation ...

OK, I think i have figured it out. At least I did recover my 48QBB. I was using ControlFlash for recovery. First you will need to locate folder with firmware files. In my case it was C:\Program Files (x86)\ControlFLASH\0001\000E. There are multiple subfolders corresponding to different controllers, ...

Have anyone experienced something like this? Absolutely. I have 7 controllers sitting on my desk right now with failed flash. Solution? I haven't found one yet. What did you use to flash controllers? Control Flash or Plus version? Did you flash using USB, serial or Ethernet? What is the manufacturing ...

Hey everyone. I have a few micro 850 controllers that failed firmware update. AWBs, QWBs and QBBs in both 24 and 48 port flavors. Every single one only could be visible trough virtual backplane and report to be 2080-LC50. Control Flash generates a log with ERROR #2100: Catalog registry validation error ...

How are you reading 6 flow meters at the same time? Ladder logic with 6 blocks for MSG_Modbus? Or you doing ST? if its a ladder logic, just put 6 blocks on the same rung so one doesn't execute until previous one .Q is true

What do you mean by communicating with all six simultaneously? Do you try to send or receive data from 6 devices simultaneously? I don't think it works that way for serial data communication. What I have done in the past is have had a function block that had "done" output when a message is sent or received, ...

You should be able to do implicit messaging using 2080-L50E and it's relatively easy to setup using example linked by nmeistrup. If you are using LC50, modbus is your friend as it doesn't support explicit messaging.

I just finished wiping and reinstalling Windows on my Dell XPS. I installed freshly downloaded CCW, and it won't validate. So far, all my AMD machines work fine on 24H2, and none of the Intel-powered ones pass validation. Sadly, if you download a fresh copy of Windows, 24H2 is baked in already. Also, ...

A diagram and make model of the actuator would help a lot. Are you using electromechanical relays for PWM drive of DC motors? I would use SCRs to prevent contact chatter; even at 4 amps with constant switching, relay contacts will arc just enough to wear out rather quickly. You can control the direction ...

This is interesting, because I installed CCW on my desktop running windows 11 and it worked fine. Installed 24H2, as I suspected it might be an issue, and it works fine. Have 2 desktops and 2 laptops with 24H2 and only one laptop not working.

Tried uninstalling everything that has Rockwell on it, removed Rockwell automation and Rockwell software from %appdata% did the same thing with registry in \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software. This time, I got a prompt to pick a network adapter, but the application still didn't ...

I thought 24H2 might be an issue, but it works fine on my other computer after 24H2 installation. I tried a full purge of everything Rockwell followed with registry cleaning, but it didn't work. One thing I have noticed is some files were left somewhere. During re-installation, I didn't get a prompt ...

Standard edition CCW 22.0, Opened project created in, I belive CCW 13. CCW automatically updated all database files. Saved a project under a different name, and HMI validated just fine. I didn't try adding new tags to the project. I had an error compiling for 850 as well, when changing controller type. ...

I just found myself in the same boat. Made custom UDFB to work with HMI. Working with 2711R-T7T would not validate the application at all. I got it down to one push button and one tag attached to it, and it wouldn't go. Opening previous projects from a few years ago validates just fine. I saved the project ...
