Hi Scott, That is a rather odd occurrence. Does the same thing occur when only one display client is added to the terminal and both the display client and the monitor are set to the same resolution? Thanks, -Todd ------------------------------ Todd Garmon ------------------------------

Hi @Aldair Ribeiro, Can you please clarify what the licenses you are referring to? Do you mean the ThinManager licenses or are you referring to the Windows CALs / RDS CALs? ------------------------------ Todd Garmon ------------------------------

We have not completed testing ThinManager with Server 2025, but thus far we have not seen any incompatibilities nor do we expect to see any. Hope this helps. ------------------------------ Todd Garmon ------------------------------

Within ThinManager you cannot "point" the Terminal / Display Client at the connection broker. You must define all of the potential RDS servers you want to use for a Display Client. As long as those RDS servers belong to the same Collection, MS will do the load-balancing for the Display Client app. ...

Hi Scott, Password rotation uses the User Account's password (at the Terminal or ThinManager User level) in ThinManager to authenticate first and then change the password. If the password was changed outside of ThinManager the password for the User would be incorrect and that would prevent password ...

Hi Jeff, It should be fine for those as well. All of these products use standard MS API's for file access so all of that should be handled by Windows. ------------------------------ Todd Garmon ------------------------------

Hi Patrick, I assume you are referring to the On-Demand Certification. If so, you will simply need to download and install ThinManager on any Windows based computer/VM of your choosing and then obtain a 30-Demo Code. From the ThinManager User Guide - "It is recommended to provide a minimum ...

Unfortunately, there are no settings that can impact that behavior; however, it is something we can look into. I would encourage you to reach out to Tech Support so that a ticket can be generated about the behavior. To reach ThinManager support via phone, find your local support number at this link ...

I am sorry you are experiencing the behavior. You shouldn't see a change in behavior between a reboot and restart. The first screenshot error message is indicating an IP address was received via DHCP, the DHCP client writes the record to a file but that file already exists. The second screenshot ...

Hi Scott, I have not encountered this error before, so, I am going to suggest you reach out to ThinManager Tech Support. They will probably ask you to enable Crash Dumps on ThinServer so they can do further analysis. To reach ThinManager support via phone, find your local support number at ...

Hi Joe, That timeout setting is used to define when you want to leave a location after a period of inactivity. As an example, let's say you have a location defined with a QR code and your mobile device scans that QR code to receive the location based content - the timeout setting would work in that ...

Hi Greth, In order to try and assist I would be helpful if you could provide a few details. When you say you have a timeout set for the terminal groups, can you be a bit more specific with how you are setting up the timeout or where that is being configured? Are you assigning a user in ...

Hi Scott, The uninstaller doesn't delete files that are not put in place by the installer (e.g. the thinmanager.db database). So, if you uninstall and reinstall, the ThinManager.db file, any of it's backups, the TMhistory.db and the .lic file (FTALicense or TMMaster) will remain. Which means you ...

Hi Adam, Sorry for the delayed response. I don't know of any issues like this but there are a number of pieces involved here. My recommendation would be for you to reach out to Tech Support for further assistance to see if they can help you hone in on a reason for the behavior you are experiencing. ...

Hi Scott, The "Failed to initialize" message usually means that there is a version incompatibility between the FTAM and the FTA libraries included in ThinManager. There was also an issue with the FTA install that also caused similar behavior and I believe the fix was to install a newer version of ...

Hi Aldair, I am a little confused by your message. The RPC error should have no impact on Synchronization. Can you confirm whether or not Synchronization is working? You can click on the Synchronization tab to the right of the Configuration to obtain the status. There are a number of reasons ...

I have never heard about this happening but I guess it's possible the CPU could be getting maxed. I am not able to max out the thin client I am using but I there could be significant differences between what I am using and what you have. ColorRush does use quite a bit of CPU. Based on the challenges ...

If your question was not related to ThinManager ...

Hi San Jay, ThinManager has no dependencies with other software or the physical / virtual machines they are installed on. It is a common practice for customers with a Redundant ThinManager setup to collocate ThinManager on a couple of their RDS Servers but by no means is it a requirement. ...
