Hi, i need to send a MSG from a controllogix to a plc 5 i would prefer to read from the PLC5 side but i looks like it will be easier to write the MSG to the plc5, i am using a 1794-L34 flexlogix and a PLC 5/60 E, i have set up the write MSG and it does get the DN bit with no errors but i dont recieve ...

Hi, i have a recurring error, we have factory talk view studio setup on a remote desktop, quite often when i try to open a project i get an error If i restart the remote server the project will open. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Splash, I haven't seen that before, i just checked it out and its a great feature but it does not show the descriptions, but thanks for pointing that out.

Hi Fuzzy, when i try this the copy/paste function is greyed out, i have also tried the shortcut keys with no luck. below is a pic of the recipe im trying to get, you can see that i need each level of the array and there can be upto 20 steps

Hi, rbliss, we do have rslinx classic and i have tried that tool and but it looks like its from the 90's or earlier and overly hard to use for what im after. thanks for the suggestion.

i have found that you can save in csv format and open that in excel which works well but it still doesnt open the full tag array, which is what i am after. why is there no copy/paste feature for the tags???

Hi Robert , i have tried this but i dont get the tags im after and it is an even bigger slab of text. Thanks for the idea though.

Hi, i want to export a tag array to an excel spreadsheet, it will contain a recipe that i wish to view. i have tried the export tags and logic commands but this is just a slab of info that does not open the array up, i have also seen the tag upload download tool but this looks like its from the 90's ...
