Volker, If I understood you correctly, there are two controllers trying to talk to one laser device. If this is the case, most likely, laser can keep only one TCP connection at the time, that is common. You will have to close PLC connection once data is sent (with Linger=1), then open it again. Another ...

Quote: "According to the table, addresses [0] & [1] represent a 32-bit INT primary value. We used the COP instruction to change the 32-bit INT to a float. We now have a value of 10.47. " I think you were going to say 32-Bit Float Value. Is the 10.47 value correct or it needs to be something else ...

You need to use 576 instead of 577. It's a Modbus "-1 " addressing "feature" if it does not work then expand diagnostics and get fault code.

These pages are just a list of supported commands. Any specific parameters that you want to read? For example, you can read Sensor Input 1-1 on page 20 by using BeginAddress= 1152, Count=36, LocalAddress=0 I think StationID =1 (page 3) It will return 36 integers described on page 22

From these 90 pages of tables, can you point to a specific page where this parameter is listed?

Do you have device manual and tell us what you are trying to read? You have configured it to read Input Registers 30002-30011 (or 300002-300011 ) Error code 2 comes from device and indicates an illegal data address

Did you configure at least one transaction? The ACD file does not have any.

Good catch. Also, it's not recommended to have two periodic tasks with the same priority, change priority of the Slow Task to higher number (11 or higher) And you must configure at least one transaction to get data.

Can you send ACD upload with DAF_WalChem2_EN active? From what I see, this AOI code was never scanned: the last Controller type detected by the AOI is ControlLogix and you have Compactlogix.

Did you add a JSR to that routine? Attach your ACD file here. .STS_EN bit is directly linked to the Inp_Enable, so you may not be scanning this AOI If you can't post whole file, then post screenshot of your Parameters and Transactions tags

You have to follow directions in the manual to implement these.

Stratix Faceplates are part of the Network Device Library (current version is 12.04) You can get this from PCDC https://compatibility.rockwellautomation.com/Pages/MultiProductSelector.aspx?crumb=111 Search for a Network Device Library

Example 3 DINTS, 2 REALs, 2 INTs COP MyDint[0] BufString.Data[0] 12 COP MyReal[0] BufString.Data[12] 8 COP MyINT[0] BufString.Data[20] 4 MOVE 24 BufString.LEN

There is nothing wrong with combining BufLen and Buf into a Sritng type tag. Pretty much the same. To populate String with DINTs you can do this (example for 3 DINTs): COP MyDint[0] BufString.Data[0] 12 MOVE 12 BufString.LEN Note that COP size is in bytes.

I am not sure where did you find that the Buffer must be a String? According to the manual page 30, it's an arrays of SINT (or bytes). You can populate this buffer with any data that you want including a mix of data types. You can create UDT, use it for a tag, populate it with data, then COP that ...

I did not use ME version but I saw similar Import issue when project language was not set to English. Change it to US English before import then change back after import.

Mark, First, I need to mention that this protected AOI code should be visible and read-only. However, this specific version does not have code visible. I reported this issue to the Faceplate team and it will be corrected in future. For now you can download previous version 12.03 just for reference and ...

If I recall correctly, 3-Ring AOI is expecting Ring1 to be always active.
