I assume so. Try it in Firefox or Edge to check. I mainly use Vivaldi and Firefox. Ditched Chrome years ago. -------------------------------------------

My thoughts as well. No limit on OPC UA strings. So it would just be a single-dimension string array of size 10. Logix strings are 82 Bytes with one being reserved for the size, so 81 characters max, IIRC. -------------------------------------------

Ok, then what do the calls look like? Is it successive, i.e. one call for each station, back to back? Or is there some time in between? You could try setting station to null at the end of the method and maybe sleeping the thread between calls. I'd probably start stepping through with the debugger ...

It looks like the variable station isn't declared locally. Any reason why? Are you using it outside of this method? Can you try it with a station variable declared local to the method? -------------------------------------------

Is there a way to use Optix logger for the connected postgre? No, because the PostgreSQL database is still not recognized as a store type in Optix and the Optix logger can only connect to one of the store types which are currently supported by Optix. The example given was merely a widget which uses ...

Ah, so it does stay in RetainedAlarms even after acknowledgement? I was under the impression it didn't. If so, yeah that would be the best way. -------------------------------------------

In these situations, its always better if you share with us more details up front. Your code is based on the example, but if it isn't exactly the same then it will be helpful for us to see your specific code. You can see in the example there are functions for browsing the controller and clearing existing ...

I posted it specifically because it does address your need in C#. Now that you've actually bothered to read the whole conversation it seems you just don't understand it. Since you've replied there, I'll explain more there. -------------------------------------------

The escape characters for carriage return and new line (\r\n) are not recognized anywhere in Optix Studio. You cannot directly put them in a string formatter nor directly in a text box. When working in Optix Studio, there are two ways to get a new line of text: Use the keyboard shortcut of holding ...

Ok, good news! I've learned from the libraries manager that they now also include the AOIs in PCDC if you only want those instead of building it out in ACM. You can download the Machine Builder Libraries in PCDC and find the AOIs corresponding to OEE. ------------------------------------------ ...

Hi, I took a look into this and the short answer is yes, there is a way to do this. I'll step through my observations and thoughts. AlarmsWithEmailNotification This is just a collection of custom alarm types, each derived from one of the base alarm types, which have been extended to include a NetLogic ...

Thanks for making this post. I remember now with more clarity. The ability to add a comment to an alarm instance is baked into the alarm type, but performed via NetLogic associated with the alarm widgets. It sounds like once a comment is added during a session, the alarm instances retains it going forward. ...

I don't have the tools available to test at the moment, but I've got some thoughts. As Suryawanshi pointed out, the .ACC value is going to be overwritten by the instruction internally each scan as long as it is enabled. I understand what you're trying to do by putting the accumulated value close to the ...

Soumen, Right-click the Kind property and use Reset to clear it. Then, set the Node class property to 'Any'. That should allow to point to any node generically, without matching type. -------------------------------------------

I'm pretty sure that with 'Approve remote access' checked it requires the operator at the panel to approve your request to initiative VPN access. That also requires that the Optix application on the panel has everything configured to do this: System object and FactoryTalkRemoteAccessWidget. You can ...

I'm quite confident it has to do with the number of event instances. With a small burst (I don't know, say 5 to 50 events) it may not be a problem. But with hundreds of events at once I'm really not surprised that eventually you encounter a problem. At baseline, the panel may have enough resource overhead ...

To me, that just means the runtime service crashed or was actually killed by the OS. Could be due to a resource error or memory fault. A full crash dump from the device would paint a clearer picture for Tech Support to analyze. One thing you can do is to start getting an idea of if the OptixPanel is ...
