Ok, here it is. I put a sample of the widget already in the window with some controls and added a web presentation engine. If you run the emulator and then start a web session you'll see that the widget instances are totally separate. -------------------------------------------

I cannot teach you every detail, but I can walk you through the basic principles and provide some examples. Your project needs an HTML file for the web page and a js file to serve as the eChart template. Additionally, a JSON file will serve as a template for the data. The NetLogic script, at the ...

Scripting is usually the best way to give the most control and flexibility, but you could also build it without scripting as a basic widget. It can just be a rectangle whose width is dynamically changed as a proportion of the width of the overall widget, based on a simple linear formula. Assume the value ...

Hi Cuong. How many emails did you receive? It looks like there were 4 SAG alarms at about the same time. Did you receive more than 4 emails? Were they not related to SAG? -------------------------------------------

Yes, you can perform such an animation by dynamically changed the value of the ellipse's Rotation property at runtime. That can be done rather easily either by NetLogic scripting or directly via Optix Studio by using Sequential Animation and Number Animation. A great example of this can be found in the ...

What if you adjusted the code a bit so that you can refresh or re-build the filtered users folder? After the user editor widget adds someone to the project folder, trigger a re-build of your filtered folder so that it is working on the latest data. UI objects cannot be retained, so you have no choice ...

I think that error message is misleading. It should still recognize the value of Domain as string type. Getting the query right is definitely a challenge. This one is proving to be particularly puzzling. I put together a test and I've tried dozens of different things, to no avail. I have 4 users configured ...

Indeed possible, but a bit of work. I had made a loading wheel and throbber combo widget by using a donut eChart. So that every instance of the widget across every session remained independent, I had to do some orchestration via NetLogic. At runtime, the NetLogic script created a unique instance of the ...

Small detail, but the updateRate variable is never used, so the remote variable synchronizer is still just running at the default rate. To work, it would need to be passed as an argument... new RemoteVariableSynchronizer(updateRate) -------------------------------------------

Hi and welcome to Enage! You can certainly use a query to filter results from a project node, like the Users folder. It would be something like: SELECT * FROM Model WHERE Domain = '' That should return all users whose Domain property is a blank string. Where the runtime files are stored depends ...

I think this depends on how the trend object is contained and bound within the window. Can you provide screenshots of how it is configured in the project view? -------------------------------------------

Hi Dhruv. A data grid is read-only by default, but can be made editable. When you add columns to the grid, you must choose editable ones: Then, after linking, just be sure that the link direction shows read and write (arrows both up and down): Then you can click into each cell and edit directly. ...

Not bad. I would declare the HeartbeatIn and HeartbeatOut variables for the entire class instead of just locally in the Heartbeat method. That way, you only need the LogicObject.GetVariable() in the Start() method. I would then add the tags to a Remote Variable Synchronizer though. That is in the same ...

I never said it makes sense. I don't know how the decision was made or if the people involved are even still around. Things could be reclassified, but that is a heavy lift since everything is already established with lots of posts already. It's probably low priority at this point. Also, I empathize with ...

Yeah, sure thing. We shouldn't take my word as gospel though. @Blake Community could you have someone in ControlLogix world have a look at this? -------------------------------------------

Also, not to be a stickler but Logix Designer is actually covered in the Automation Control community for some reason, not here in Advanced Software. Questions like this may get more attention over there is my only point. -------------------------------------------
