That reason for nesting makes sense but I am not right clicking anything before creating them. It might have had the cursor focus from a previous "move to back" or "move to front" action. I will pay closer attention. As for a static image I also would greatly prefer that option because I can make ...

Mine to a logix L82 PLC includes \backplane\0. The L33 may not use a path like that but potentially something like that. If I recall the slashes are backwards from Rockwell addressing too.
