Just a thought, if you have that file under the Administrators profile, you would need administrators credentials to access it from anywhere. Browser may not be able to provide that . ------------------------------ ≈≈≈≈Splash≈≈≈≈≈ ------------------------------

I have the OPTIX Panel which includes some of those tokens, but I think I want to keep that for experimentation. I'll see what the tokens cost, it might not be enough to worry about. I seem to recall it was pretty reasonable, at least in the beginning it was. ------------------------------ ≈≈≈≈Splash≈≈≈≈≈ ...

I have seen the specs on what it takes to run Optix and they aren't significant . I was originally going to use a Panel but now I'm leaning toward a VM on Proxmox just for the ability to snapshot a version. This install would serve 5 web clients full time. Anyone doing something similar that would ...

There is a critical thing being misunderstood here. 127 address is a Ethernet RFC constant - it has nothing to do with Echo or its settings and has been a thing since.... well since ethernet became a useful thing. There is a port ping application around that can test for port 44818 accessibility . ...

Do you think the Optix Panel is up to the task of a webserver in the real world? ------------------------------ ≈≈≈≈Splash≈≈≈≈≈ ------------------------------

Ahh I understand . I created a function in the PLC logic that does exactly that for this purpose and just expected that to work. In the tag database listing it is correctly truncated at 2 decimal places but bringing it into View or even performing a RTOS instruction on it will reintroduce extra decimals ...

I find I can use the @Description field of the same tag and concatenate that into a Text display, but then the numeric value, which only has 2 decimal places, gets expanded to 15 decimal places. Whats going on there ? I'm using V9 View designer I can also add the string literals "Cell A "+ to ...

What is the syntax to display a concatenated combination of text label and value in the same tag? The dialog accepts "Tank A: "+::HMIname\Tagname but emulation wont display it. I was sure I could do this. I tried it with a Text display object and a numeric display object with the same result EDIT: ...

I have this app (server, client and agent) running on a single machine (v4.30.1) and while it shows new versions and notifies me there are new version available, the download and deploy doesn't do anything and you can't check the boxes next to any particular software anyway. This is the same machine ...

If I read the debug right it fails after the captcha and loops back to the login dialog. There are a handful of errors in the dev mode listing, but that not all that unusual. But this seems relevant: ------------------------------ ≈≈≈≈Splash≈≈≈≈≈ ------------------------------
