Hello Kivanc, the drive fault history can be viewed on the HIM - do you see any faults there? Brian

Sorry for the late update The customer has set P621 and P75 to the values above and still has this problem I have decided that this is beyond me and am getting Allen Bradley in to take a look I'll update with anything they find Brian ------------------------------ Brian Grimshaw --------- ...

Thanks James, I feel we have no choice but to give it a go There doesn't seem to be any other parameters that we can adjust for this Brian ------------------------------ Brian Grimshaw ------------------------------

One problem is that I don't have a datasheet for these motors. I have the nameplate, but it's not the best photo Do you think that the measured values shown on P6 (Flux Current Feedback) will be close enough? Thanks, Brian ------------------------------ Brian Grimshaw --------------------- ...

Thanks James, it's good the know that it is not just us I have passed these on to our customer, and will also get them to try disabling the flux regulator with P103 as Aderiano suggested Brian ------------------------------ Brian Grimshaw ------------------------------

Thanks Aderiano. I will pass this on to our customer to try I also wondered about P106 Torque Adapt Speed. This is set to 10% = 8.4Hz, but I discounted it as every run would be the same, whereas our issue is only with the first run after power down. Do you think that this assumption is correct? ...

Hello Aderiano, Thanks for the explanation. Do you mean the flux current defined in P70 Autotune or P26 Motor NP Amps? We spotted P621 was incorrect and have tried this, but it did not solve our problem We have advised the customer to try setting P75 to 126A, but they have not had a power cut ...

That's intersting and you could be right about a limit Do you have parameters for these? I would be intersted in these if it's not too much trouble: P27 Motor NP Hertz P28 Motor NP rpm P621 Slip rpm at FLA No problem if you don't have them Thanks, Brian ------------------------------ ...

Hi TJ, no problem We have tried that, and had four AB techs out to try to sort it out too I think the weird auto-tune parameters are a clue, but we will try almost anything at this stage, though getting to site in NY from UK is not so easy now Thanks for your input Cheers, Brian ---------- ...

Hello TJ, but I can't get one drive to start when it only has 50% actual load Below 16Hz, the drive is peaking at 150% torque (limited) on P4, and it is stalling and keeps tripping, even though the real mechanical torque is only 50% Once it has run above 16Hz, the torque reading on P4 drops to 50% ...

Hello TJ, thank you for those It is certainly something that we can try, but at this stage even a single motor in speed control does not give the required torque for the first run after power down Brian ------------------------------ Brian Grimshaw ------------------------------

Hello Aderiano, what effect would disabling the flux regulator have? I have looked through the documentation, and it's not clear Something struck me: These are 84Hz motors and I think that is causing the problem Looking at P621 (slip) 26.5 rpm, but nameplate says 37 rpm 37 rpm * 60Hz / 84Hz = 26.4 ...

Hi everyone, We have ten 150Hp motors on a lineshaft with one speed master and nine torque slaves. All drives are in FV After power down, the motor torques on the drives are very high and drives fault with over current (I think that's the message) If we accelerate very slowly, we can get the machine ...
