Philip, Thank you but I know what a DLR is. I did do a quick search and found..."A Dynamic Link Library (DLL) is a type of file in Microsoft Windows operating systems that contains a collection of shared code, data, and resources (such as icons or fonts) that multiple programs can use simultaneously. ...

I have been editing prints for a customer and the end user (EU) requires the use of a 1783-HMS16T4CGN. Yes, it is a discontinued part number but they have updated their Approved Components Appendix and it is the only 20 port switch that is approved. They (EU) reviewed my first revision and suggested ...

Dex, I would be using a new Micro850 (2080-L50E-48AWB). I would still need to do the PCCC mapping, correct? It would not be plug and play as a new PanelView800 would be, correct? ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ltd. ------------------------------

I am quoting a PLC update from a Micrologix 1200 to a Micro850. The customer currently has the HMI in the subject. Could someone please confirm that the Micor800 series PLC's can communicate with the older PanelView 800 HMI's? ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ltd. ...

I am considering my Rockwell HMI options. I have used the PanelView 800 series on past projects. To be honest, not bad for for an 'entry level' HMI from Rockwell. I am trying to save myself and my client some money and programming time for the initial cost of the project but also year over year investment ...

I threw some stuff into Proposal Works just to get an idea of status, availability, and cost (list price)... 1734-Point IO are all 'Active'. Communications module 1734-AENTR has a lead time of 29 days. (2) 1734-IB8's and (2) 1734-OB8's have a 1-5 day lead. Cost: +/- $1500. Fewer IO/module and the rack ...

I am designing a 5069-L330ERMS rack with multiple Safe IO 24V Cards and Standard 24V Cards. I have to incorporate (1) 5069-IA16 and (2) 5069-IF8 cards. I believe I need a 5069-FPD in the previous slot before the 5069-IA16. Do I need another FPD after the IA16 for the (2) IF8's? The prints for the original ...

Funny enough that is the exact same table my local distributor supplied me for the same question. If the 249mA is all inclusive, I'll be okay. If not and I can't get a straight answer then I need to find an alternate. ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ltd. -------- ...

I have found the Max Current for the Steady On Beacon model I have specified for my project. No luck with this audible base. Please help. ------------------------------ ...

Hello, I have a 5069-IB16 (Slot 5) not seeing inputs. All NPN Sensors are being used on this card. When a sensor is ON (made), I see +24V DC. When the same sensor is OFF, I see +19V DC. When uncoupled from the Module, ON = +24V DC. OFF = 0V DC. (This tells me the field wiring is correct.) ...

Hello, Since you are using Latch/Unlatch bits, there is no need to 'Latch' you 'Motor_Start_Request' with itself. (Unnecessary redundancy). I also suggest moving your one-shot inside of your branches. This will allow Floats 1 & 2 to trigger (pulse) your start request when Float 2 Closes. With ...

I do not have the hardware to test my screen layouts. I am establishing my standard global items for each individual screen (similar to PV+ applications). With the 800 series there are no 'global objects'. My question is this... Is there a way of viewing/testing screens without the actual hardware? ...
