Hello, I have an existing Studio 5k project that I need to add a Keyence IV3-G120 Camera Controller to the Ethernet/IP Network. I have the EDS file from Keyence but I cannot find the recommended module type. I started with a 'Generic Ethernet Module' but I do not have the connection parameters to ...

The only module I have in stock is 1734-IB8, where I did find that, thank you. Also, in the 1734-IB2/IB4/IB8 manual/specification the Key Switch Position is called out. However, the 1734-OB2/OB4/OB8 specification (I found) does not call out the Key Switch Position. ------------------------------ Peter ...

Hello, I am in the process of creating an internal reference document that lists out what I feel are the most significant specifications for system design. Across all of the brands I use. I am having trouble finding 'Keyswitch Positions' for POINT IO Modules in Literature Library. Does anyone else have ...

I am trying to test some basic programming in the Micro800 Simulator of Connected Components Workbench V21.01.00 to avoid having a 'spare Micro800' to test with. I have changed my controller to the required 2080-LC50-48QWB-SIM but I cannot change the IP in order to download my program as the tutorials ...

Thomas, I have not found a way to use each bit of a DINT, INT, or SINT as a BOOL in CCW. While converting ANY_TO_BOOL sounds correct, it will actually convert positive value to TRUE and 0 to FALSE. I would recommend this... setup a global/local variables that are BOOL's with a dimension of [0..#] whatever ...

Update... I have now received and installed the 2080-TC2 Modules into the same PLC on the same machine. Wired to the recommended terminals using 'J-Type' Thermocouples. I am receiving the same results. When heat is applied there is no reaction to the added heat. ------------------------------ Peter ...

Actually what you sent previously works perfectly for my application. Different alarms get a different timed pulse based on urgency. Thanks again. ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ltd. ------------------------------

Thank you sir. That was exactly what I was looking for. I have done this in Studio by monitoring bits within the timer's elapsed time but CCW doesn't have that functionality. Too much time in Studio, I got away from the basics. Thanks again. ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared ...

It may seem pretty straight forward to some but I am having trouble. I would like to use a timer with a PT of 250ms to make a light blink every 250ms. The same for 500ms and 1000ms. EDIT: moved to Automation Control community -FL ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ...

Update... Changed/switched to 'J' Type thermocouples. Changed the configuration to match. Type J and 16.7 Hz. Receiving the same results on all 4 zones/thermocouples...little to no change in data points (temperature C) when heat is applied. ------------------------------ Peter Sherick P Squared Automation, ...

At this point my Thermocouple reads as below... At this time of the screenshot my Fluke Meter Reads 60.1 C. My process needs to maintain approx. 105-125 C. Both my PID and Compare/Time based logic for the heat work. My feedback never changes even with a thermocouple change. ------------------------------ ...

Alright, I have found the Temperature Conversion Data (here). My current temperature reading is almost exactly 10 degrees F higher than the actual. My shop temperature is 78 F and you can see I am reading 88 F with my thermocouple. I also have a Fluke 87V Meter Temperature reading of 23.4 C (74.12 ...

Fuzzy/Philip, It is now working as it should. The Input side issues were mostly contributed to the DIP Switch settings below. SW1 (8 Bank), dip switch #2 enables diagnostic reporting from the EX600. The Output side was contributed to improper wiring on my part. I did not supply output power for ...
