Is there, maybe, a master reset that can be done on the processor without turning it into a brick? Yes there is a small hole under the run switch where you can insert a paperclip while powering up, this clears the memory - useful on a safety PLC when you can't remember the password ;0

FW v1.1 is a virgin device, previously unused SO flash it in a bench setup as above, if you can use a Ethernet card like EN2T with a USB port then use that

Put the other PLC in each others IO tree at the bottom, with their IP addresses, then configure your produced tags with 1 consumer, then your consumed tags with the producer selected from the IO tree, make sure both PLC are set to same task rates. are you sending safety tags?

Your FPD likely provides Emergency stopped power to the output cards so that all points on those cards will be off for an E-stop. So you should put your input card before the FPD and re-map the 2 output cards Steve

Hi Ryan I would normally do that for reading current or power, that change all the time, but not for a value that should be constant. Which is why I followed the original messaging technique, it only talks to each inverter once every 12 seconds instead of very 200ms Is there ...

Hi All, upgrading several (12) PF40 to PF525, trying to re-use the parameter read message for Max Speed but failing with error 16#0001 ext code 16#0001_0315, obviously changed the parameter field to 44. In communication tab I see the correct drive name passed in from an array e.g. $01$02$12$p192.168.2.15 ...

I have a motor that is unreachable without the scaffolding that it was installed with, so unsure of exact details on rating plate. Do the rpm and number of poles parameters do anything critical other than provide rpm readout? PF525 but also PF753/755 for future reference ------------------------------ ...

Hi Mica Thanks for the link, but damn Rockwell knows how to charge, that card is 3x the price of the standard STO card so that totally negates the saving of 2 safety outputs So unless its the only drive in the cabinet and I can save on AENT card too, then its not a great saving After working ...
